How to Reactivate the "Application Monitoring" indicator
The "Application Monitoring" indicator shows if the app can monitor and control the time the child spends on various apps.
To reactivate the indicator, check the following settings:
On the parent's device:
- Select the child.
- Go to the Apps page.
- Ensure that the Application Monitoring option is active.
On the child's Android device:
Open the Tutorina app.
Make sure the permission for the accessibility service is granted.
Even if the permission is granted, sometimes (especially after an app update), the accessibility service needs to be manually turned off and on again from the general device settings app.
On the child's iOS device:
- Open the Tutorina app or iOS Settings.
- Ensure that the ScreenTime service is enabled and that the Tutorina app has permission to access it.
Quick fix for disabled settings:
If an orange message appears at the top of the child's app screen saying Some settings are disabled. Fix it now!, tap on it. The settings configuration screens will open automatically. Go through each step and grant the necessary permissions to enable app monitoring.
