Installing the app on your child's iOS device

Tutorina is an app designed for parents who want to monitor and protect their children online. Follow these steps to install and set up the app on your child's iPhone or iPad.

Step 1: Download and Install Tutorina from the App Store

  • Open the App Store on your child's device.
  • Search for Tutorina in the search bar.
  • Tap Download and install the app.

Step 2: Select the User Type

  • Open Tutorina and select Child's Device.

Step 3: Connect to the Parent's Device

  • Enter the code displayed on the screen into the Tutorina app on the parent's device.

Step 4: Confirm the Connection

  • After connecting, a confirmation message will appear.
  • Tap Continue to proceed with the setup.

Step 5: Enable Notifications

  • Tutorina needs access to notifications to inform you about your child's activity.
  • Tap Allow when prompted.

Step 6: Grant Location Access

  • The location feature helps parents see where their child is.
  • Tap Allow While Using the App for temporary access.
  • Select Change to Always Allow for continuous tracking, even when the app is not open.

Step 7: Set Up DNS for Internet Filtering

  • DNS settings help filter and control accessible content on your child's device.
  • Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > DNS.
  • Select Tutorina DNS and enable it.

Step 8: Configure Screen Time Permissions

  • This step allows Tutorina to block apps and set time limits.
  • Tap Continue to start the setup.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enable Family Controls and required restrictions.

Step 9: Complete the Installation

  • Once all settings are configured, a success message will appear.
  • Tap Finish to complete the installation process.
Important Notes
  • Family Controls must be properly configured for the app to function.
  • Some settings, such as app blocking and time limits, require iCloud Family Sharing to be enabled.
  • The child's device must remain connected to the parent's account in Tutorina to maintain monitoring and restrictions.

Now that Tutorina is set up, you can start using the app to ensure your child's safety online!
