Installing the app on the parent's Android device

Tutorina is a powerful app designed to help you guide and support your child in developing a balanced digital lifestyle. Follow these simple steps to install and configure the Tutorina app on your Android device.

Step 1: Download and Install Tutorina from the Google Play Store

  • Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
  • Search for "Tutorina" in the search bar.
  • Select the Tutorina app and press "Install."

Step 2: Choose the user

  • Open the application and select Parent's Device.

Step 3: Provide contact information

  • Enter your phone number.
  • Select the days you want to be contacted.
  • Choose your preferred time to be contacted.

Step 4: Create an Account or Log In

  • Open the Tutorina app after installation.
  • Select "Parent's Device."
  • Choose one of the account creation options:
    • Continue with Apple
    • Continue with Google
    • Register with email and password

Step 5: Add a child

  • Enter your child's name.
  • Select the month and year of birth.
  • Choose the child's gender.
  • Upload a profile photo or select an avatar.

Step 6: Create an Agreement

  • Set the daily screen time allocated to your child.
  • Add daily activities that the child must complete to earn extra time (e.g., homework, reading, chores).

Step 7: Connect the child's device

  • Press "Connect the child's device."
  • Enter the code that appears on your child's device.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the connection.

Step 8: Configure the parental PIN code

  • Create a 4-digit PIN code that you will use to access the app's settings.
  • Confirm the PIN code by entering it a second time.

Step 9: Manage notifications

  • Choose whether you want to allow the Tutorina app to send you notifications. It is important to allow notifications for the app to function properly.

Step 10: Explore Tutorina

  • You can now explore all the features offered by Tutorina, such as:
    • Monitoring screen time
    • Blocking apps and websites
    • Tracking the child's location
    • Viewing activity reports
    • Setting goals and activities

Note:

  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection on both devices.
  • The parental PIN code is essential to protect the app's settings.
