Prerequisite Requirements for the Child's iOS Device

Before starting to use the parental control app on an iOS device, please check the following requirements to ensure the app works properly.

1. Check iOS Compatibility

Make sure the device is running iOS 17.0 or a later version.

2. Free Up Sufficient Storage Space

Check if there is enough free storage space on the device.

3. Update iOS to the Latest Version

It is important that the device's operating system is up to date. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check and install any available updates.

4. Set Up an Apple ID for the Child

Ensure the child has their own Apple ID. If the child is under 13, you can create an Apple ID for them using Family Sharing.

5. Enable Family Sharing

Set up Family Sharing on your device. This allows you to manage and monitor the child's device more effectively. Go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing and follow the steps to add the child.

6. Check the Internet Connection

Ensure the device has a stable internet connection, as the parental control app may require internet access to function correctly.

7. Backup the Device

Perform a backup of the device using iCloud or iTunes to protect existing data before installing the app. This ensures that data is not lost during the installation process.
